This is my latest picture..Kak just took it minutes ago...I lost my weight :P

Assalam and hello to all of you out there. It has been ages I have not updated this blog. I do not know why I became so lazy to write and post something here. It’s been already for months I have kept silent. However, today I feel compelled to update the blog because it is a very special date. I guess the whole world feels today's date is so special to be remembered. Therefore, today I also want to write something on this blog.

Auni is doing very well

Actually, at home only umi, ayah and us the furkids. Kak Adik and Kak Baby went to school in JB. While our big sister, Kakak is now studying in college. However, Kakak is now at home because she is on her semester break. We feel very happy when Kakak is at home because Kakak will spend her time with us. We also looking forward Kak Adik and Kak Baby to come back home from their end of year school holidays.

CP has to be on the e-collar until his eye ulcer healed

I would like to inform you all that we are all in good health. It is only CP at the moment who is having eye problems. He is now suffering from an ulcer in his right eye. It has been almost a month since umi has gone to the clinic for Cp’s eye treatment. Umi went to see the vet twice with some medications but it seems that his eye ulcer did not show any signs of healing. Therefore umi decided to take him to the Animal's Hospital. CP was given some medications and eye ointment but still no improvement. After a week umi took him back to the hospital and the vet told umi that CP’s right eye has to be stiched up so that it could heal better. Finally CP had a surgery on his eye. Today umi and Kakak brought CP to the hospital to unstitch his eye. He was given some medications and eye drops as his eye ulcer has not totally healed.

I would also like to introduce the new members of our house. They are SJ and Aurora. Umi took them from JB last September. They are so active, especially SJ. He is very playful and he has broken many things in the room. Aurora is not as active as SJ, but she has problems with weeing and pooing because she likes to wee and poo on the bed rather than in the litter tray. She would wee and poo in the litter tray only when umi is in the room. It seems that in front of umi she wants to show her good attitude. We hope Aurora will stop her bad habit and it will help umi from cleaning every morning and afternoon.

Hana is very attached to ayah... she sleeps with ayah day and night

For your information, Hana will be spayed on the 22nd of November. Actually umi sent Hana to be spayed last few months but the vet can’t continue the procedure because she had problems with her liver and kidneys. Therefore she was given some medications to treat the problem she is having. Now Hana looks good and healthy but the vet advised umi to take Hana to the Animals Hospital because their clinic has not got complete equipments in case the same thing happens to Hana again. I Hope Hana will be fine during the procedure of spaying her.

SJ is an hyperactive!

In conjunction with this special date, I would expect all my friends out there to also feel special because I and the other cats always remember all of you even though I seldom update our blog. I hope that our friendship in cyberspace will be prolonged even though I am not actively updating the blog. I Hope 11:11:11 will be continued to be remembered and I did not stop from updating the blog on this special date. With the support of all friends, I will try to update this blog frequently. Until we meet again in the future, I on behalf of my brothers and sisters wish to see you all again in the other entry... I will put Nimra's,Yoruhime's, Alif's, Xing Yun's, Romie's and Khayla's latest pictures in the next entry ;)

Mahzuz: My wound is healed

Xing Yun: She still has her collar with her name - we lost ours :/

I am here again to update our blog but today is a special entry dedicated to our beloved ayah. Today is his birthday and we would like to wish him a very happy birthday.

Ayah, may God bless you with health, wealth and prosperity for the rest of your life.

Auni: She still has her collar with her name too! She's really good of keeping her belongings.

We are so thankful to our ayah because he always takes care of us. Everyday he would play with us especially when we were little. However he still does the same things to fill our day. Ayah is very creative because he would always have new ideas to play games with us and we really have fun in every moment we spend with him.

Yoruhime: She likes to hiss at us :(

As a special day for ayah, we want him to be happy but we have nothing to give him as a birthday present. Therefore we hope ayah will like our special entry for him ;)

Here are our latest pictures which we could upload here to show him how much we love him and for all our friends hope you all like our pictures too ;)

Alif: He is ayah's favourite fur kid ;)

Khayla: She is doing very well... She sleeps with umie every night :p

Romie: He just got neutered but after being neutered, he became very aggressive!

CP : He will be neutered too! Umie will make an appointment ASAP for him :D

Nimra: She is being naughty because she likes to hang outside most of the time

Hana: She is getting better but umie has to take her to the vet again to examine her health condition :S

Li Wei: The new kitten umie rescued last few weeks. His wound has already healed and his tail's fur is growing. He is very active! He always wants us to play with him :D

We hope all of you enjoy reading this entry and looking at our pictures... At the moment it is only us in the house... We hope to have more brothers and sisters with us in the future :)

After 3 months...

Assalam and hello to everyone out there...

First of all I would like to tell you that we miss all of you so much!!! I would also want to apologize for my laziness in updating our blog. I myself was not well and wounded my throat but now I have recovered. The wounded is now healed. I'll ask umie to upload my latest pics ;)

Chiku will always be in our hearts

Today is the 13th of July and exactly 3 months since our beloved Chiku went missing... It's not only that today is the 13th, but also Wednesday, the day Chiku suddenly disappeared :( Since he is lost, we keep praying and hoping that he will come back home. Whatever it is, our thoughts will always be with him.

Ryzki - few days after he was with us - umie took him traveled with her

Actually there were few things happened since my last entry... Umie had adopted new little kitty that we named him Ryzki but he was with us for a while when he also went missing :( Umie have looked around the block but still can't find him.

After that, umie and kakak found a lady cat with fungi all over her body. They took her home and gave her some treatment. She is now doing well even though she is under medication due to her kidneys and lung problems. We hope that she will get better.

Hana - before

Hana now :)

Last two weeks when umie went to the bazaar, she saw a little kitty almost knocked down by a car, she took him home. He also had a big wound on his tummy. Umie took him to the vet and now he's doing well. His wound is also healing.

For the other members of the family, they are doing well. Khayla was on the Live Tv Show with umie last Sunday, for an interview about stray cats. Khayla behaved very well and she also looked very pretty. Umie said that she will bring me along if the tv producer invites her again ;) but I don't think I can behave as well as Khayla did.

Here is the link of umie's and Khayla during the tv interview. This is only part of the interview and we hope that the tv producer will invite umie again to talk about stray cats which are like all of us... We are all lucky strays that umie took home and became part of the family :)

Nimra is just like me, she likes to stay outside and umie doesn't like it :/

Xing Yun and Nimra, they are doing very well but Alif, Yoruhime and Auni had a cold. However they are recovering after umie took them to the vet. Romie was neutered last week and CP will get his turn soon :p

I guess, that's all what I can write for now... after three months of losing our beloved Chiku... where ever he is... he will always be in our heart and we will always be thinking of him...

May Day = Chiku's birthday... :((

Chiku is not here to celebrate his 4th birthday :(

Assalam and Hello, Mahzuz here to wish all of you a Happy May Day, Happy Labour Day and have a really good rest... For myself, I don't work so I always have good time to rest :D

Today is our big brother's birthday but so sad that he's not around to celebrate his birthday :( Since he went missing on 13th April, we still keep hoping he will come back. Yesterday kakak said she dreamt of Chiku, in her dream, Chiku came back home and he was very healthy. No saliva dripping from his mouth as before. He looks really good. How we wish kakak's dream came true!

We heard that umie said that she will still celebrate Chiku's birthday although he is not around. May be umie will defrost the Chiken that umie had already steamed for Chiku for us to eat... It's really sad and we can only wish he returns home soon... Since Chiku left, I took over his place to look after the others. I will protect them from intruders and outsiders..

Tomorrow umie & her twin sister will go to Bandung for a week. We will be staying with ayah and kakak. I want umie to go with free mind, not to worry about us so I will make sure to stay at home and look after my little sisters and brother.

Ok dear...once again, have a happy May Day and have nice bright day :)

Where is Chiku? :(

Assalam and hello...

It's already a week since our Chiku went missing. Until today, we still hope he will come back. We have looked arund for him but we failed to find him :((

All of us are very sad and umie still keeps the chicken's keels that she steamed for Chiku the night before he was missing. Umie didn't let us to have it because she hopes Chiku will return home. We don't know, how long she will keep it in the freezer :? We understand it and we don't mind at all. Moreover we have enough food and can eat at any time we like ;)

As I have mentioned in my last entry, when I knew Chiku was missing, I spent most of my time at home. I do go out for a while but I'll make sure I am around in the house, especially when umie is at home. I know, umie will feel better when she sees me in the house. That make me feel better as well :p

What has actually happened to Chiku? No one knows because he just disappeared without any notes or signs :( What ever it is, we keep praying for his safety. Some people said that he might already be at the rainbow bridge :(( If it's true, we hope he's happy over there, playing with Itni and Envy, his best friends since he was little... One day I might go to the rainbow bridge too and hope all my beloved sisters and brothers wait for me and cross the rainbow bridge together with me... Oh no! I shoudn't talk about it... umie doesn't like it :p

Some people say he might already be at the rainbow bridge :(

Please pray for our Chiku... wherever he is, wish him safe and peace...

Assalam and Hello to everyone...

I am here to ask for all our friends prayers and purrs for our big brother Chiku.

13 April - Chiku did not come back home :(

Last, we saw him was in the morning when ayah fed us our breakfast. As usual Chiku did not eat because he only wanted to eat steamed chicken. At that time umie was so tired, since she just came back from the airport to drop the Indonesian lady. Therefore umie straight away continued her sleep. When umie woke up, umie had to go out with kakak and ayah too, had something to do outside. So as usual, all of us will stay at home for awhile and we are big enough to look after ourselves. When umie came back late in the evening, umie noticed that Chiku was not home. Umie tried to look for him but he was not anywhere in the house or in front of the house as usual. Umie kept looking for him until late at night but still has no sign of him. All of us were so worried. Until now Chiku is still missing...

Umie and kakak are so sad because they don't think anyone would kidnap him because he has been in and out since the first time he stayed in this house. Umie and kakak have looked and asked around the neighbourhood and still can't find our Chiku :(

How could umie and kakak did not worry of him because he's not very well. He has to take his medicines thrice a day. It's umie and kakak's routine to feed him and to make sure he eats his medicine and food. Therefore when Chiku went missing umie and kakak just couldn't close their eyes...

Since Chiku was missing i did not hang around out side very much. I spent most of my time at home and i even laid down next to umie everytime she performs her prayers. I wanted to tell umie that i am still around and will support her during this time. I don't want umie to be more worried if i am also not at home.

14 April - Keep looking for Chiku

Umie, Kakak and minus Ayah still kept looking and asking our neighbours if they have seen Chiku but they got a negative feedbacks. None of the neighbours said they've seen Chiku on the day he was missing :(( However umie and kakak did not give up. They kept on looking, they walked around the neighbourhood hoping they would find Chiku. Alif, Yoruhime, Auni, Nimra and myself walked with umie and kakak to look for Chiku. It's quite a long way but we still wanted to look for him. We sniffed here and there, that made umie and kakak thinkt that we smelt something of Chiku. Sadly after a long way walking, we did not find him. Therefore umie decided to go back home and will continue to look for him again...

15 April - Still hoping Chiku returns home

Kakak can't sleep well the whole night, she kept thinking of Chiku's safety. Therefore very early in the morning kakak went out to search for him. Just like yesterday, kakak did not find him and that made kakak feel really sad. What else could we do to find our Chiku???

Some people said that, some cats when the time comes for them to die, they will disappear... That's what they believe in their culture. When umie and kakak were told about that, they became more sad because they don't want to lost him, especially without saying good bye :((

Do you believe what those people believe? Please, i hope umie and kakak will be at my side when the time comes for me to leave this world. I don't want them to worry... I know if i am dead, they will get sad but at least they know that i am not in this world anymore... just look at Fatimah Megumi, we don't know what actually had happened to her... Now Chiku is missing like Fatimah Megumi too... Until now umie and kakak still hoping Chiku and Fatimah Megumi will come back...

We hope that Chiku will come back home safely... Please keep praying and purring for our Chiku to come back... He needs his medicine and actually he's recovering slowly from his illness...

April - A week Entry -

Assalam & Hello to everyone...

I hope all of you are happy and in good health. As for us here, we are all doing well too. From the tittle of my post, i will write few things to share ;)

1st & 2nd April

Our umie and umi Teh's birthday. We hope both umie's and umi Teh's dreams will come true. During umie's birthday, she was not around, she attended a wedding ceremony in Besut and she stayed in Kota Bahru. When she was in KB, she met her sister in-law with two little girls. Umie came back on the 2nd of April and she got a big kiss (Meowwwwwwwwww) from me because that's all I can give her hehehehhe :D

4th April

Umie got a visitor from Indonesia. She was umi Teh's friend's cousin sister. She has something to do in KL but she doesn't know anyone in Malaysia so umie invited her to stay with us while she is here. She looks nice but actually she doesn't really like cats :( I could know it because everytime i tried to come near her she will avoid me :(( Anyway, she does not do anything that hurt us but she did lock all the bedroom windows and that made Xing Yun unable to get into the room. While she is here, Xing Yun and Chin Peng have to share bed room because the lady is using Xing Yun's room :D

6th April

The Indonesia lady went to Singapore so Xing Yun got back her room. Xing Yun seems very happy to be in her room again. If not she will be bullied by Chin Peng :( Lately Chin Peng becomes very aggressive... I really pity Xing Yun because she has'nt got anyone to turn to accept me but yet i always hanging out :/

8th April

Umie and kakak will take me, Chin Peng and Xing Yun to the vet. It's only us that haven't got our spot-on combo yet because during the time umie took the others to the vet, I was not at home.... Actually i am thinking of going out for a while because the vet will only open at 10 am hehehehe :D However I heard umie telling kakak to lock me when I am at home because I like to hang out at the empty house few blocks from our home. Yesterday kakak went to the empty house to look for me. Yeahhhh I was there. I haven't seen kakak for a while since I've been busy with patrolling the road so when i saw her I said hi and followed her home :p

One Entry with many stories :)

~Nimra~

Salam and hello to all our friends…

It has been ages since our last entry. We are all very busy with our routines. For me, I spent most of my time hanging around outside. I like to be alone at the empty house, which is a few houses from ours but umie doesn't like it. She prefers me to stay at home. For umie, almost every weekend she’s out to other places. Even now, she has already got her flight tickets for the next weekend to Alor Setar, Kota Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and of course to Johor Bahru.

My entry today be about few things that occurred since the last entry. Here they are:

17 February 2011 – Umie made an appointment and took Chiku to see Dr. Tan. Actually umie got to know about a new antiviral for FIV and FeLV. However the antiviral was still on trial. Umie managed to get the vet's contact number and she rang Dr. Tan to get more info about it. Dr. Tan gave the antiviral and umie has to feed Chiku 3 times a day. It’s already a month since Chiku took the antiviral, it’s difficult to say if the antiviral is working because Chiku’s condition is still unstable. One day he looks very well and after few days he'll look ill. However umie has tried her very best and hopes Chiku’s FeLV will be cured or the least he gets better. Before umie leaves to Johor Bahru, umie will take Chiku to see Dr. Tan again. We hope to get good news from him after he diagnoses Chiku.

24 February 2011 – In the afternoon, umie stopped to buy a coconut drink when she saw a stray cat looking for food. She took some cat food from her car and fed her. When umie walked back to her car, the cat followed her but umie couldn't take her home. However at night, when umie picked up Kakak, she told her about the stray cat. Kakak asked umie to go to the street where she saw the stray cat. At first they couldn't see her but later when umie took out some food and called her, she came out from her hiding place. Umie decided to take her home and now she's become one part of our big family. Umie named her Nimra (tigress)

6 March 2011 – Umie took Auni, Yoruhime, Alif, Khayla and Nimra to the vet. They were to be spayed/neutered. Alif was the first one to be neutered and he was doing well. Khayla's turn was after Alif's but when the vet performed the surgery, they found that Khayla was having an ovary tumor. Beside that she also had a big tumor near her stomach. The vet called umie to enter the surgery room and told umie that Khayla'scondition was very week. The vet told umie to keep praying and hope that Khayla's surgery will succeed. The vet took almost 3 hrs to take out and clear the tumor. Below is the picture of the tumors taken out from Khayla's tummy.

Thanks to God, Khayla's surgery was successful and also Auni's, Yoruhime's and Nimra's. All of them are now doing very well. However before the stitches were removed, all of them had to stay in the cage for a week. I felt sorry for them but I couldn't do anything to help them out of the cage. After all, it's for their own good :) Below is the video of Khayla during the surgery.

9 March 2011 - Romie managed to get out from the toilet window in Kakak's room. Ayah could'nt catch him, he ran away. He got lost! All of us were in panic. umie wasn't at home and Kakak had to look for Romie by herself. Kakak was lucky to have Chiku accompany her to look for Romie around the neighbourhood. Kakak was so proud of Chiku because although he was not very well but he still walked with her. However sometimes Kakak had to pick him up and carry him because he seemed too tired to continue walking. Kakak gave up looking for Romie and she told umie that she couldn't find him. Umie asked Kakak to close all doors and look for him in every room. Finally just when kakak collapsed on the floor, Kakak found Romie hiding under the table in Kak Adik's/Xing Yun's room. Romie... he's been naughty as well...but Angel and CP are very well behaved.

15 March 2011 - Ayah helped umie to take Auni, Yoruhime, Alif, Khayla and Nimra to the vet clinic for suture removal. Luckly Ayah was there to help because the vet just couldn't handle Yoruhime and Alif because they were so aggressive. Ayah helped to stroke them while umie had to help hold their legs. Auni, Khayla and Nirma behaved very well. Now all of them are free to play around.

16 March 2011 - Nimra went missing! Umie and Kakak were so worried but Ayah seemed so relaxed. He told umie not to worry because he knew that Nimra would come back. He said, Nimra would not go away because she now has a place to stay and a family to live with :) It's true, early in the morning, when umie woke up, Nimra was already in the house and sleeping on her favourite spot.

22 March 2011 - Alif was so aggressive since he has been neutered. It's is the opposite from what umie was told which was that a neutered cat will be more tamed and behave well. However it's not the case for Alif... he being very naughty... he keeps attacking other cats especially Xing Yun. It's so sad that Alif attacked and chased Xing Yun. I was not around to help and protect Xing Yun (as I mentioned earlier, I always hang around out side). Luckly umie managed to catch Xing Yun and put her back in her room. Sometimes Xing Yun likes to go out from her room but every time she goes out, Alif would attack her... She got traumatised and she even scratched umie when she tried to run from Alif. Hopefully, Alif will not attack Xing Yun anymore because Xing Yun also needs to play out side too.

24 March 2011 - Chiku's health is up and down :( One day he seems very good but the next day he looks very weak. Ayah helped umie to drive her to Dr. Tan's clinic in Puchong because umie has no confidence to drive on her own. Chiku was diagnosed having jaundice but Dr. Wong (Dr. Tan was away) said that Chiku's jaundice is very mild. She gave some liver tablets and also the FeLV antiviral for Chiku. Umie has to take him to the clinic after a week.

26 - March umie went to Johor Bahru/Singapore to visit Kak Adik, Kak Baby and umie’s parents in Singapore. Romie and Angel are in Johor too. Kak Adik and Kak Baby wanted to have one of them each and they will belong to them. So CP will be Kakak's white cat (I am her beloved black cat hehehehehe).

31 March - Again, Ayah drove umie to dr. Tan's clinic for Chiku's check-up. Chiku's still having the mouth ulcer due to the FeLV he has. However, Dr. Tan said that Chiku's ulcer is recovering although it will to take some time. Chiku was given some other medicines and also continues with the FeLV antiviral.

Tomorrow, very early in the morning umie will fly to Kota Bahru. She will be attending her friend's wedding reception. She will be there for only two days so we don't have to worry :p

I guess that's all I wanted to share after more than a month I did not update our blog. I will try to update more frequently because now I spend more time at home. It's raining almost everyday so I prefer to stay indoor. I don't like to wet my fur and I might get cold...

OMG! Who are they???

Reni & Chin Peng (CP)

Salam and Hello to all our friends...

I was so surprised when I got into the house. I saw 4 new faces! in the cage. They are gorgeous and make me feel jealous >:I I wonder where they came from so I went to ask umie to get more information about them. Umie told me that they were given by their owner (auntie Sue) because her daughter is asthmatic and allergic to cats. Therefore, reluctantly auntie Sue had to give them up for adoption. However she wanted to give the cats to someone that could look after and love them truly. Umie was introduced to auntie Sue and they made an arrangement to drop the cats to our home.

The mummy cat : Reni

The mummy cat is already booked and her new owner will pick her up later. The other three will be staying with us because Kak Adik and Kak baby wanted to have one of them as their respective pet. It means that they will take care and be responsible for the cat. Kakak will have CP to take care for and it seems that CP can get along with Kakak very well. For me, I don't really bother about other cats in the house because I know umie's love for me will never lessen :P

The ladycat: Angel

They are very fluffy and much more bigger than me :/ Kakak doesn't want them to be cooped up in the cage, so Kakak put them in Kakak's room so that they can roam freely... At first umie thought that they could stay in Xing Yun's room but as usual Xing Yun will never welcome any other cats. So we'd better not take any risks. Even though the cats are next to Xing Yun's room but Xing Yun doesn't know about them because Xing Yun doesn't comes out. We are not allowed to enter Kakak's room and I am not happy with it. Anyway, later I could understand why umie and Kakak don't let us go in to the room.

The mancat: Chin Peng (CP)

I would like to introduce them, the mummy cat is Reni, the golden coloured one. The daddy cat is Romi and he has two odd coloured eyes. The other mancat is Chin Peng and kakak seems to like him very much. The other ladycat is Angel and she is really pretty. All of them are so well behaved. Umi doesn't want them to get out because she doesn't want them to "sweep the floor with their bushy tails. They stayed quietly in Kakak's room but sometimes they try to get out from the room. They were named by their owner. I guess if umie's the one who will give them names, it will be something very human-like ; like mine, Alif, Auni and Khayla :p

Today, everyone all over the world is celebrating the Valentine's Day but for us, we are celebrating my birthday :p I am now two years old. I am glad that I am still here living with my human family. my big thank you to Kakak who brought me home and was patient with all the silly things I did such as pooping and peeing any where I liked :p

Alif and Yoruhime joined me and ate the cake too :)

I am really naughty but they still love me very much. I will try not to make my humans get angry with me. I want them to love me more :D Actually I know that their love to me is unlimited... they will do anything to make me feel good but I still never listen :/

Mahzuz: My special birthday cake ;)

For my 2nd birthday, umie baked a special cake for me. I would like to share the recipe so that anybody who is interested to try can try it as it is not difficult ;)

The recipe:

Inggredients

500 gm steamed fish meat.

3 large eggs

mould (to put the mixtures)

Steps

1. cut the steamed fish meat into small pieces

2. beat the eggs in a bowl

3. add in the steamed fish meat in the eggs

4. grease the mould, pour the mixture

5. steam until cooked and decorate it as you like

Salam and Hi to everyone...

As some of you might know, we are all still very sad with Envy's death :(( Of course we could not easily forget her, especially umie... after only 6 days after Envy went to the rainbow bridge, a female cat suddenly appeared at our back door. We've never seen her before, we don't know where she came from... the first time we looked at her, we felt sorry to her... she really needed help but it was very unlucky that none of the nearby vet clinic was open due to the Chinese new year break and long weekends.

Umie asked Kakak to feed her and make sure that she will not run away. Umie did not cage her because umie didn't want her to be scared or traumatized. On Monday, umie and kakak took her to the vet. She was given an injection to cure the fungi on her face. She also had a burn scar on her body and her paws of her left hind leg was chopped. However the vet said it was self healed :(( I cannot and do not understand why someone could do this to an animal. Sometimes I wish someone would do the same to those people, what they have done to those poor animals (I have gone through it before Kakak met me), but I know it is not the correct way...

After 3 days she was given the injection and applied some medication cream on her face and body, she is now getting better. Yesterday Kakak washed her because she was a bit smelly :/ and she even stayed the whole night in the bed room. Umie just let her roam freely in the house to let her feel that she is now safe. Hope she will get better and get back her prettiness :p Umie also found a nice name for her --> Khayla (it means PRETTY).

* Auni still continues having her cold and Alif got scratched on his left eye but he was given the eye drop and we hope he will get better.

We would like to wish all of you a very Happy Chinese New Year... especially to our friends who are celebrating this special festival :)

Xing Yun (the Mandarin Chinese word for 'lucky') was posing and wearing her cheongsam and the rabbit's years special for this 2011 Chineses new year...

This year the Lunar New Year falls on February 3rd and it is the most important festival of the traditional Chinese. The Chinese New Year consist of a period of celeRabbition, starting on new year's day. It means that the new year will be celeRabbited on the fisrt day of the month of the Chinese calender.

the Rabbit is the fourth of the 12 Chinese zodiac (Rat, Ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig). Ancient Chinese believed there was a rabbit living on the moon.

In Chinese culture, rabbits can be used to symbolise the moon. They could see it on the shiny full moon on mid-autumn day (the 15th of the eight months in the Chinese lunar calender.)

Rabbits, especially ones with white fur, are also a symbol of longevity in traditional Chinese culture. The ancient Chinese believed it was the incarnation of Alioth, the brightest stars of the Triones.

It was said that people born in the year of the rabbit are the luckiest among 'the 12 animals'. The rabbit is a symbol for mercy, elegance, amiability and worship of beauty. People born in this year are kind, speak gently, peaceful, quiet and loving person.

Salam & hello to all our blogger friends...

We would like to thank all of you for your prayers and purrs given to Envy. It is really sad that Envy has now passed over the Rainbow Bridge :( The vets already tried their best but God loves her more... Umie felt very sad that Envy passed away in the vet clinic :(

If only we knew that our time together was near, we would have done things differently. We would stay the whole night next to her but we thought she would be alright :( Never came across our mind that Envy would leave us this soon.

Envy dear, you will be missed... All the sweet memories we had will stay deep in our heart. We want you to rest in peace... Kak Adik and her cousin were digging Envy's grave. We want her to always be near us although she had passed over the rainbow bridge. Therefore we buried her in our small yard next to our beloved Itni.

Now Envy could play withh Itni and the other over the rainbow bridge. Both Envy and Itni rest next to each other...

Last hugs and kisses for our beloved Envy... Umie will miss you very much because you massaged (paw knead) her every day... After 30 years (umie lost her cat that could paws kneading, then you came and now you left...) Who will replace you? when will umie find a cat that is very sweet, lovely and clever like you?

Envy lost her weight

Salam and Hello to everyone...

We are all very worried about Envy. She's already warded in the clinic for three days due to the jaundice :( We really hope that she will recover because from the vet inspection, her jaundice is a bit serious. All her body is very yellow including her toungue, gums and eyes :(( that's not a good sign for those who are attacked by jaundice :(

Umie did not notice Envy having this health problem because she did not show any behavior change. She would walk with umie to her car every time umie goes out and she would wait for umie when umie came back... She would also massage (paw kneading) umie everytime umie rests on the sofa. She even ate as usual although, umie noticed she ate with a very slow pace. Umie did not suspect anything because we like to get bored with our food so we would always eat very slowly :p

Mahzuz: I lost my weight too :(

However, when Envy massaged umie for only a few kneadings, it seems very unusual so umie asked Kakak to check if Envy was having a fever. Kakak noticed that Envy's ears were very yellow and umie got very panicked! because all the vet clinics were closed. Umie and Kakak had to check on Envy every hour and gave her isotonic water to make sure she would not get dehydrated. Luckyly Envy could still survive until morning.

Umie took Envy to the vet and hoped she would get help. Since all of us needed our regular deworming, while Yoruhime, Alif and Chiku needed their vaccine so umie took all of us to the vet too! For Auni, since umie took her home, she is still not very well. Umie has to take her to the clinic again and again :(( Hope she will get well...

Yoruhime looks like Xing Yun and for this visit, Xing Yun refused to take picture :p She can't accept and still doesn't likes the new members of the family :(

Auni has been not well since she joined our family and we really hope she will be healthy. Today umie will take her to the vet again. If she's still doesn't shows any improvement, the vet will give her a 'stronger' medicine :/

For our big brother, Chiku which is having FeLV, he's maintaining his health but his mouth ulcer is still there and he seems to be suffering it so much. Umie has to feed him with some medication everyday and it's not an easy job as he's very fierce and doesn't like to eat his medicine.

Mahzuz: Thanks that I am healthy although I lost my weight

At the moment, me and Xing Yun are fine... we just need our regular deworm and vaccine only... hope we will keep being fit like we are now :)

Alif - our new member in the family :)

Salam and hi to all our blog friends :)

In this entry, I would like to introduce our new family member, ALIF ( which means; good friend). He joined our family last week. Umie took him home from Skudai, Johor which is almost 350km from here. Umie thought that he's so special because he came from no where, and suddenly jumped on umie's lap when umie was waiting for Kak Baby from her school.

In my previous entry, I did mention umie and ayah going to visit kak Adik and Kak Baby because they are now schooling in Johor. While umie was waiting for Kak baby to finished her class, from no where came Alif jumped on umie's lap and was as if 'looking for something'. He acted so funny that umie just couldn't stop laughing. He nuzzled at umie's and sucking as if he's milking with his mum :p Umie said that she just let him did it until kak Baby came out from her class.

Alif's behavior attracted other people who were waiting for their children and some of them thought that Alif was umie's kitten and they thought Alif was acting funny and cute. Some of them took pictures and videos from their phone of Alif 'breast feeding' with umie :D It's really funny isn't it? Umie just couldn't bear to leave him there because umie knew that Alif was missing his mummy so much. Therefore umie decided to take him home.

It was quite a long journey from Skudai, Johor to here but Alif behaved very well. He did not feel scared at all. Umie said he just sat at the rear seat quietly until they arrived home. He's is really funny because he still keeps looking and doing 'the sucking' every time he wants to sleep. Even though actually he's just sucking at umie's clothes but umie still has to treat him. Umie said he reminded umie of those days when umie breast fed our human sisters :p

That's all about Alif, we hope he will stop acting like a little kitten. Now I guess that you all could see from our pictures that we are wearing our new collars. Finally umie managed to complete it but umie decided not to use the colours as umie planned before. Umie thought that we could share the colour so I shared with Chiku, Envy shared with Xing Yun and Auni shared with Yoruhime. It's only Alif that hasn't got any yet because umie has yet to get the alphabets from the shop first. Umie bought the alphabets before Alif joined us...

Now our family is growing... and maybe it will grow bigger. Please pray for our good health so that we will not burden umie with the medical bills... Thank you :) Until we meet again in the next entry. Wish all of you a nice day.

New Collar

Yoruhime: Can't wait to put on her new collar :p

Salam and hi to all our blog friends :)

In my last entry, I mentioned about the collar that umie and kakak were doing for us. Here are the collars but until now we still can't have it yet because umie and kakak still need to do the finishing touches :p There are different of colours and of course mine will be the Yellow because it suits and match with my eyes and contrasts with my fur :P

Yoruhime can't wait to have it... She keeps playing with it while trying to complete it so we can wear it :) What i notice is, the collar does not has any bell so it's good because umie and kakak will not be able to hear me when I am walking :p I am not sure if umie will get us bells and put it on the collar too... I guess it will be 'over done' and will not look nice :p

We have to wait until the collars are really completed and put on our necks :p Let us wait and see... Ok everyone, until we meet again, take care...

Hello everyone! This is Mahzuz reporting >:D , as you all know, today is 11.1.11 (it only comes around once every thousand years people!) it's already almost half of the first month of the new year!! . For the past few weeks, umi has locked me up with Xing Yun >:( we are both in Kak Adik's room because Xing Yun just doesn't seem to want to get along with Yoruhime and Auni. So now I'm stuck with Xing Yun because umi says that I'm her "only friend" but it's not all that bad. I get to go on the roof and spy on the cats who live behind our house.

Moving on, I heard from Auni that umie and Kakak were making something suspicious. ( Auni sneaked into Kak Adik's room when Kakak came to feed us) Auni told me that the things umie and kakak were making looked like collars and each one had our name on :) how exciting! I can't wait for a new collar. I dropped my old collar somewhere :P and now I will get a new one with my name on it. I will show it to you guys when I get it from umie ;)

One more thing that I haven't told you is about two of our human sisters are now studying in Johor (about 350km away from here). Therefore we will only see Kak Adik and Kak Baby when they come back here to visit on school holidays. However umie is always visiting them and umie will be visiting them again these weekends. I heard umie talking with Ayah that Kak Adik and Kak Baby wanted them to take us with them this coming visit. If possible, I don't want to go because it's really far and I don't like to stay in the car for that long.

I will try to tell you more about the four tiny kittens that were abandoned by someone at our back door. They were left in a box without their mummy to feed them. Umie was so worried but fortunately our neighbor's mummy cat is still feeding her kittens so Kakak put the tiny kittens with her. It's so lucky that the mummy cat accepts the kittens and is willing to feed them. Now umie and kakak will just leave the kittens at our neighbor's place momentarily. Umie will have to take the kittens back because our neighbor would not want to keep them later as they have already got many cats...

It has been quite a long time since we have last updated our blog. Everyone is very busy with their routine and activities. I am busy as well... busy playing and doing lots of catching :p hehehehehe

First of all we would like to wish all our friends that celebrate Xmas a Merry Chritsmas. We wish peace and love for you and your kin.

I guess you still remember our Fatimah Megumi, she has not come back since she went missing :( After few weeks Fatimah Megumi got missing, umie took home Auni and she's doing well. We took her to the vet for a regular check-up and deworming and we hope she will get better from her cold.

The last few days, we found a little kitty wandering alone in the middle of the night on a quite street. We couldn't bear to leave her there and we worried she would get knocked by vehicles because she was right next to the road side. Finally she has become our new family member. We named her Yoruhime in Japanese which means princess of the night or in Malay, 'puteri malam' ;)

My human sisters are going out to see an international cat show but they don't want to take us with them because the rain is pouring heavily... I think it's good that we the cats to stay at home, so we can have a nap :p

10-11-10 (New Girl In The House)

Auni

Salam and hello to everyone...

My last entry was about Fatimah Megumi, our new member of the family but she was with us for not even a month when she suddenly disappeared. Last Thursday, umie found a little kitten wandering and meowing on the street. Umie looked at her and she found that the little kitten was ill. Her butt was a mess with her poo and flies were all over her.

Umie felt sorry for her and decided to take her home. When she arrived home, kakak quickly washed and cleaned her. She's now getting better. Umie named the little kitten AUNI. Hope Auni would get along well with us especially with Chiku and Xing Yun.

For Fatimah Megumi, she's still not back home yet, it's really sad that she still hasn't come back. Were still hoping that she will come back even though it seems a little hopeless now :( However, we pray and purr that Fatimah is doing well out there. We will be happy if she returned home...

ermmmm I feel so sleepy... I an gonna have a nap ;)

Fatimah Megumi

Salam and hello to everyone, anywhere you are :) Hope all of you are doing well and are in good health. For us, we are fine, it's only our big brother Chiku that is not very well due to his FeLV :( and for our human sisters, they are very busy with their school's final examinations... We wish them all the best!

Wowww we have not been actively blogging for ages! Actually there were so many things that happened since my last entry. We have a new member, which our human sister took in from a restaurant during their way back from Beserah, Kuantan. It's around 400km to reach home and she was doing very well all the way back home. They named her Fatimah Megumi.

She was caged for few days but she managed to escape and got lost for two days. However umie and kak adik found her back. After almost a month she's with us, she suddenly disappeared :( She's a very nice female cat and very bright one too. What worries umie and the fur-less sisters is that she is pregnant. It's been about more than a week since her disappearance. Umie and kak adik not to forget kakak (especially kakak), have been looking for her around the neighbourhood but yet, there hasn't been a single sign of her. They also put up posters of her but until now no one has called umie to give her good news :(

Today is 1st November, 01-11-10 nad Fatimah Megumi is still missing. We really hope that she's safe and if someone has taken her, hope they will look after her nicely. However we are still hoping for her to come back...

I hope I could be more active to update this blog... Until I publish my next new entry, I wish for you all to have a nice day and take care :)

Eid Mubarak!

We wish all our friends a happy Eid....

Me, Chiku, Envy ang Xing Yun are now in boarding :( We were sent here on Tuesday because umie, ayah and the sisters will celebrate eid in Singapore. We are not allowed to enter Singapore without proper documents. Therefore umie decided to leave us :(

We don't have any other choice, so we just have to stay with someone we have never meet before. He's a stranger that has come to look after us. He feeds us and cleans our cages... We just can't wait for umie to come back so we can go home and be free again!

Top Ten!

It's already September 2010! Time goes by so quickly! Day by day my routine has not changed much... I play, eat and sleep. It's the same for Chiku, Envy and Xing Yun. I would like to update our blog often but I have a problem sitting in front of the computer... However today I want to write about our blog which was listed as one of the Top Ten Animals Lover Blog in Malaysia :)

It was stated here . I, on behalf of our umie and kakaks would like to thank the blog's owner for listing our blog among the Top Ten. We know that they love animals so much... I guess many more humans out there are very kind to animals.

Thank you to all the people who are so kind and take care of animals especially to those who need help (like me - when I was abandoned). I hope more unlucky animals will be saved by good hearted people :)

Salam and hello to all our friends. I guess it have been ages I did not update umi'e blog. I am busy hanging around with Xing Yun. We are having fun playing together. When we get tired, we sleep the whole day long :p

However, today I need to update the entry because today is Kak Adik's special day. I want the world to know that today is her birthday! She's 14 and she's a big girl now! I hope Kak Adik will be wiser and prettier as she grows.

Chiku has FeLV :(

Salam and hello to all our friends :) Today I am going to talk about our big brother Chiku.

Our brother Chiku always gets ill and umie would quickly take him to the vet. However his resistance from the illness would never last long... He would get ill again. Because he kept getting ill, the vet suspected he has FIV but after the blood test he was FIV negative but after the diagnose he was found to have positive FeLV :(

All of us are very worried about him. His condition is not very good. The vet told umie and kakak that there's no medication for it but umie has to keep Chiku as healthy as possible. The vet also suggested not to give raw food and unpasteurised dairy product because that might cause bacteria infections :( Chiku's health conditions seems to not be very good. He has gingivitis and stomatitis those really hurt him. We really pity him for having the illness

Umie and kakak will take all of us to see the vet for our check-up. After all, it's already time for us to take our deworm. It is also time for me to take my annual vaccine. Pray that we will always be healthy so that we will not burden umie with the medication bills :/

Envy seems very tired

Umie bought us a new bridal-gown and a tuxedo from UK. Our human sisters were so happy to know that umie brought it home. Me and Envy had to be their models for dressing-up. We just let ourselves to be used to model the dress and tuxedo.

Salam and hello to all our friends. First of all, i would like to tell you how happy i am to see umie back home safely... Actually umie had a very hard day because umie left her bag with her laptop, some important documents, souvenirs, chocolates and sweet at Heathrow before she check-in. She just realised she has'nt got her bag when she going to check-in her luggage. She looked for it but it's not there anymore! Umie was so sad, not because of the souvenirs, chocolate and sweets but because of the files in her laptop and the documents...

Envy in the new carrier with wheels :p

It was really unlucky for umie when one of her luggage was not at the KLIA baggage pick-up counter because the luggage was left in Amman, Jordan... So sorry for what had happened to umie. Even though there are bad things that happened to umie, she still had some presents for us. Luckyly the bag that was full of our presents was safe. Umie bought us new brush set, new food feeder, tuxedo and bridal dress for our dressing-up and also a carrier bag with roller underneath and a few other things for us :p

I am really happy that umie is back now... umie looked so tired after a long journey... Surely umie will get jet lag after few weeks away... Have a good rest umie... thanks for all the presents and we hope a good hearted person will return back umie's bag which she lost...

A long silence...

I was so tired and sleepy :/

Salam to all our friends out there. It's been such a long silence since the last entry. I don't have idea what to write... I have no story to tell... so i just keep silent :p

Umie is busy with her routine and even during this school holiday she still has to do the same routine because all our human sisters still have classes and tuitions to attend. For us, the cats, we also have our routine too and as usual we play, eat and sleep :D hehehehe

I want to help umie to call Mak Busu :D (that's umie next to me)

Before the weekends, umie plans to go back to Singapore to visit our grandparents because they are not well especially our granddad :( Umie has been thinking about who will look after us when they are away :-S errrmmmm as usual umie will ask her youngest sister (Mak Busu) to look after us but until today umie couldn't get to contact her... She must be very busy too...

Hello.... Mak Busu... are you there??? Please pick up the phone! :(

We don't want to be put in the boarding because we will be caged for days... We hate it so much because we cannot play freely as we like! Please... look for Mak Busu and tell her that we need her to look after us. Please... we want to stay at home...

HERO ~ two front legs were chopped! ~

This is HERO

Yesterday, umie with our human sisters when to Papa Meow's place to meet HERO, a special cat whose two front legs were chopped by an inhuman person. At first our kakaks wanted to take me and Xing Yun with them so that we can meet our furfriends but we were not around (hiding somewhere) so they left wihtout us :-S

Umie made a cake for HERO - actually he didn't eat the cake and the human finished it :p

When the first time umie and the kakaks watched the video from the You Tube, they felt so sorry for the poor kitty :( They hoped and wished that they could meet the lucky kitty because he is such a hero for having a strong will to live even without his two front legs...

It was by chance that HERO's owner who saved him and looks after him until now planned to meet Papa Meow at his home. Therefore umie and our three kakaks went there to personally meet HERO and other cats too.

HERO lets umie to pet him :)

I am so lucky that when I was abundant at the road side, I just broke my jaw and kakak saved me. Same with Xing Yun, although her leg was fractured but she didn't lose hers like what happened to HERO :(

Last year umie made birthday cakes for her friend's daughter. Umie made two cakes for her because she wanted to bring one to her school so that she could share with her friends and the other one was for her party at home. Last month when umie met them in a party, the cute little girl reminded her parents to ask umie to make her a birthday cake again. Umie doesn't want to let her down so umie made her a double heart shape cake with a little princess on top of it.

Envy showed interest in the cake...Actually she is envious of umie's friend's daughter for getting a cake with a little princess. I guess she also wants a cake like that for her birthday. The problem is that we don't know when her exact birthday is because ayah took her home when she was quite big ;)

It's ok Envy... umie will make you a cake like what Chiku had on his birthday :p and for me... on my birthday next year, I will ask umie to make me a heart shaped cake as well because my birthday is on the valentine's day :D

Envy's New Collar!

Kakak watched the anime of nyankoi and she fell in love with Josephine's collar. It was a coincidence that Envy lost her collar so Kakak decided to make a new collar for her.

Since Kakak doesn't know how to use the sewing machine so she asked umie to help her with the sewing. Kakak did the template and cut the fabrics out. It did't take too long for them to finish making the completed product.

Here is Envy with her new collar. She seems to not be bothered by it. She just wears the collar as usual without making much fuss. Now Kakak and umie plan to make one for Xing Yun but they will make her a different colour.

I wanted a new collar too! But I don't think that the collar will suit me since I am a male cat :p I wonder if Kakak can come up with a new idea for my new collar. I don't think she will make it though... since she's so busy with her studies... So I just have to wait patiently :(

~HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY~

In Malaysia, every year, 16th May is a Teacher's Day. This special day is dedicated to all the teachers. Teacher's Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm even though it is a working day. Teachers are very special people and part of a student's life. A teacher is like a candle and will show us the guiding light, creating conditions that are conducive to the overall development. We will always be thankful to them for their constructive support. Therefore, to show the expression of this gratitude on the Teacher's Day, Kak Adik and Kakak Baby wanted to give something special to their teachers.

They wanted umie to make them some home made chocolates and chocolate cakes to give to their teachers. Umie decided to also make something else for them to give to their class teacher. It is just a simple gift which is a pencil that umie decorated with a rose, some ribbons and silver beads. Umie has to make more of this pencils ;)

I wanted to have one but I don't have any teachers to give to one to because I don't go to school. How nice it would be if there is a school specially for cats like me :p If there is one, I am sure umie will send me there so that I can learn and be a clever boy :D

I like the pencils umie made and as usual I will make an inspection on if it is alright :D I really want to have the pencil but umie said I don't need it :( She wrapped the pencil nicely and it makes me want it so much more but umie took it away from me :( Now I can't play with it anymore...

For all the teachers out there, we wish you all a Happy Teacher's Day :)

I would like to introduce Hitam, the stray mummy cat which umie feeds everyday. Umie named her Hitam (Black) because of the colour of her fur. She will wait for umie to feed her in front of the door everyday . Hitam had given birth to a few kittens and now she has 3 cute kittens. Umie tries to hold the kittens but they are all so fierce! They will hiss at umie and umie was even bitten by one of the kitten.

Umie managed to capture the kittens' picture when they tried to hide from her. The kittens are really cute right? Umie wishes and hopes she could hold and play with them... She also hopes that the kittens will not go far and will stay near for food. Any idea on how to make the kittens want to come near and let umie touch them?

Umie has few wedding invitations to attend on this weekends... If only I can follow her... : p

I have the same fur colour as Hitam (Black) :p

umie's home made chocolates

Today umie made some chocolates. I love to eat chocolates but umie doesn't let me to have any. Umie said that chocolate is not good for my health since I am a cat :( I tried to steal the chocolate when umie is not around but I got caught by her. Later, umie kept all the chocolates out of my reach... Ohhh I love it but i can't have it! :(

Kak Baby is really horrible!!! She captured an ugly picture of me. Why can't she snaps a good one??? :-S Hope you like to see how I look in this picture :p

Umie made it... We are on it!

If you could still remember, before umie made a decoupage with some roses on it. I wanted my picture to be on the 'vase' which is actually a recycled nescafe bottle. Finally umie managed to make one with our pictures on it ;)

Umie painted it in pink because that colour will contrast very well with my fur. I don't mind the colour even though I don't really like pink :p but to me as long as my picture is on the vase, I will be content :D

I am waiting for umie's other 'project' so that I can 'help' her with it :p but it takes ages for one project to be completed :D So I and those of you who are looking forward to umie's and kakak's next project will have to just wait patiently :P ;)

Chiku and me (Envy) eating the birthday cake that umie had made for him. Kakak helped with finishing off the cake. We really hope that Chiku will be healthy, happy and live long.

This is the birthday cake that was made specially for him. The cake was made out of chicken meat and some jelly. Although this is a special cake for Chiku but he seems to not like it that much. I was the one who eating it most. Mahzuz and Xing Yung didn't eat the cake at all...

Finally the cake was given to the stray cats outside as a celebration of Chiku's birthday. The stray cats seem to like the 'cat cake' that umie made so much :)

* Today Mahzuz is busy playing and he's not around to help with this special entry so i took over his job ;)

Umie's Decoration Box

Umie decorated this box for an exchange gift. She likes to give something she made by herself. As usual, everytime umie does something, I would like to help @ disturb :p

After umie was done, I went to have a look @ check how it is, especially to know if there is anything in the box. I found nothing because umie hasn't put anything in yet. So I was thinking that it would be fun if I could sit/hide in it... :D

Unfortunately, the box is too small for me... So I think i should go and find something else to play with... I wanted to play with Xing Yun but she's sleeping... What a boring day...

This is what umie has done to the box. She decorated it with some flowers and silver ribbon. I guess the combination of the two colours are a good match...

To add some character to the box, umie added small ribbon flowers with similar colours as the big flowers. The ribbon flowers look sweet when attached to the edges of the box ;)

I love the silver 'lace' that umie put on the box. I was playing with it when umie took the box away from me :( She doesn't want me to ruin her decorated box. Besides the box, umie will also add in a cute little duckling and some handmade bookmarks as the exchange gift :D Hope the person who will receive umie's gift will like it as much as I do :)

Envy before and after surgery...

Envy is not as active as before :-S

Early this month, Envy had to be admitted to the vet clinic because she had a lump under her cheek. Only after a week she could return home. She looks so skinny.... she lost her weight and that makes umie so sad an worry... We don't want to loose her like our beloved Itni because that what happened to Itni (she slowly lost her weight) :(

After almost a month, now she is back to normal but her weight is still not very impressing... she seems to like 'human food' so much but umie doesn't want her to eat 'human food' as it's not healthy for furkids. Umie bought a new brand of imported food for us and it's quite expensive compared to SP or AIMS. Envy has made umie sad when she doesn't want to eat the food at all. I don't like it as well! Hehehehehe but I still eat it just to please my umie :p ( I am a good boy right :P)

What makes umie a bit unhappy when we don't eat the 'new food' is because she bought a big bag! (7-8kg) Who is going to finish it??? (umie might give it away or feed the stray cats outside - but the problem is... even the stray cats don't like it! hehehehee) This means that umie has to get us a different food if we keep ignoring it...

ermmmmm what a mistake umie has done! (actually umie has gave us a try and it seems that Chiku likes it so much but now he doesn't like it as well ) so... we have to eat it before umie gets us new food... The problem is we prefer not to eat and be hungry... ermmmm that's really a bad attitudes... (but I am not that bad ehhhhh)

A long silence... Now guess what I found?!

Salam and hello to everyone...

It's such a long silence... Our blog has not been updated for almost 3 weeks! This is due to the internet problem we had - our modem was struck by the lightning :S Therefore we can't do anything... Our sisters and ayah have rang the technician and they had guided them to mend and overcome the problem but it's still not working. The internet shows it's alright but its did not connect to the web. We have to wait until TMNet find the real problem!

Although we don't spend time with the internet, we had other things to do. The sisters have to go to school and tuitions (day and night), umie has to do her daily job - drop and fetch the girls to and back from school. Lately umie is not very well so she spends her time sleeping :P (what a lazy umie hehehehehe).

For me, Chiku, Envy and Xing Yun, we spend our time playing. We like to play outside and umie doesn't like it. Umie will try to make us stay inside but we find it's boring... Outside we can play with so many things - especially with the birds on the tree in front of our house. Besides that we also like to catch small creatures. Can you see what I found in the picture above? I found it outside and took it home to show umie but umie doesn't seem to like what I have found :(

errrmmmm I guess I have to stop for now... I will write about our Envy in the next post - she had a surgery before and now she's fine :)

I love cuppies!

I love to play with umie' cuppies! Those cuppies were made from felt. I know that umie is not happy when i play with it but i just can't resist it! Umie and kakak made the cuppies as a gift for umie's friends. Umie and kakak like to make hand crafts . They also prefer to give presents/gifts from their hand made stuffs :p

Umie and kakak made 'vanilla flavoured cuppies with strawberry topping' and 'choc cuppies with vanilla cream topping' :) It's really yummy! The big sunflower plate is umie's birthday present given by Izul. Umie seems to like it so much. Thank you for those who gave umie presents on her birthday. This year, umie got two surprise party from her friends and those who love her :p

Umie packed the cuppies and decorated it with pink and blue ribbon flowers with silver beads. Is anyone out there interested?

We would like to wish umi-e and her twin sister, umi-Teh a Happy Birthday. We pray and wish for all their dreams to come true. The picture shown below that it was given to umie in 1990 on her 25th birthday. Umie likes to keep and will always keep anything given to her and until now umie still has her soft toys given by our ayah when they were dating more than 20 years ago ;)

Actually we are not very happy because our sister, Envy was in the vet clinic - she has to be 'warded' for few days. Umie will pick her up on umie's birthday if she's ok. I will write about Envy after she is out from the clinic. Love you all...

I don't know why i feel that life is quite boring now... Since Xing Yun likes to play out side, she spends her time own her own. Sometimes I have to really look for something interesting to play with. We have a new neighbour next door, they like to play badminton in late afternoon... I found it is really interesting but I am shy to join them because they are still new to us. Moreover we don't know if they like us or not. Not all human like cute things like me :S :P ;)

What could I do? I could only look at it when umie took it away from me :((

One fine day, I went to the neighbour's compound and I saw the shuttle cock that they use to play badminton. I found it very interesting. With white feathers on it, it looks like a chicken. I played with it and took it home. umie seems doesn't like what I have done. She knew that, I am the one who took the shuttle cock back from from the house next door. I had a collection of three but Umie asked Kak Baby to return it back. I was so sad that umie took away my 'new toys' that i found :(

Umie promised to get me my own shuttle cock to play with but until now she hasn't got it yet :( I guess that she has no time to go out to buy it for me... Therefore I have to play with whatever toys I have surround me... I like to play with anything even with Kakak's 'brown paper' that she used to make her 'kimono pattern'. Kakak was so angry with me when I ruined her 'pattern' :D

I am now thinking... why must they get angry with me every time I find something interesting to play :#???

Me, Envy and Xing Yun - all in one cage

Umie has to take all of us to the vet to get us 'dewormed' and also our annual vaccine for our sister, Envy. Many things have happened today during our trip to the clinic! First of all, umie and kakak had to look for us because all of us disappeared! We knew that umie will take us somewhere (actually we had the feeling that they will take us to the vet) so all of us tried to hide from them. It was not easy for umie and kakak to catch us because we ran across the road. What made umie and kakak surrender is when we ran to our neighbour's compound. Surely they couldn't get in there because our neighbours were at work and locked their gate.

We are surprised that the vet could easily give Chiku the medicine! Umie can't do it so easily because Chiku is so fierce...

However umie and kakak managed to get us after chasing us :(( umie had to put us in the small cage because kakak's friends were around and they wanted to follow us to the vet's. They've never had this kind of experience before so this was a good time for them to handle these furkids to see the vet. Kakak decided to hold our big brother, Chiku because it will be very cramped for all of us in the cage. Moreover Chiku doesn't like to be squashed. Umie just started to drive the car for few meters when Chiku pooed on Kakak's lap! Hehehehehe the smell quickly spread in the car. So umie turned back home to clean Chiku's poo and also for kakak to get changed.

Kakak couldn't manage to hold Chiku so she put her in the cage with us :S

When kakak had to wash herself, Chiku took the opportunity to run away and hide at our neighbour's house but kakak managed to trick him with his favourite food! After that we continued as planned... but unluckily, after we reached there, the vet was not around (usually umie will ring first but not for today). Later umie decided to take us to another clinic but before that, umie stopped for some shopping because umie and kakak's friends had to get something from the shop. Moreover the shop was not far from the clinic. We stayed in the car with kakak but kakak couldn't manage to hold Chiku any longer because he got angry so kakak put him in the cage too! We are so fed-up with Chiku when he kept hitting us to release his anger. We decided to sit still so that Chiku wouldn't hit us and after all it was quite chilly in the car.

Every time we see the vet, we have to be weighted :[

After umie and kakak's friends finished shopping, they went to get something for lunch! so we had to wait for them to get some take away food from 'Shushi King' errmmm hope they will give some to us ;) Later umie took us to another clinic for our deworm and annual vaccine for Envy. When everything was done, umie put Envy in the cage, followed by Chiku but it was a mistake! Chiku didn't let me and Xing Yun to get in and he even hit Envy! Naughty chiku-nim! So umie asked kakak to hold me and kakak's friend to look after Xing Yun because umie had to drive. During the time kakak's friends to get into the car, Xing Yun manged to escape! Kakak's friends didn't know that they never let go of the furkids even when they are in the car (before the doors are closed)

Suddenly Xing Yun ran out from the car! Umie was so shocked! They tried to stop Xing Yun but she kept running away because she might be so scared and it was an alien place for her. The clinic is near to a big and busy road! Xing Yun ran across the road. Umie was shocked that she cried and screamed when Xing Yun ran so far. Lucky people came to help. Xing Yun was so panic and then ran into a big drain. There was water in it! Actually it's good that she ran in there so that umie and the others could stop her easily. Lastly they got her but she was soaking wet!

The vet has to check the temperature as well - that's Envy's turn :p

OMG! Xing Yun really made umie's heart skip a beat for escaping like that! It was really dangerous! That was a first experienced for umie that her furkid got to escape during a visit to the vet. So many things happened today! I'm just grateful my best friend didn't leave me and finally she was saved...

I really behaved myself on the trip to the clinic :D

Me with umie's 1st decoupage ;)

Today I am going to talk about umie's first decoupage that she has managed to make. Umie had wanted to make decoupage for so long. She had bought all the stuff needed for making decoupage ages ago but she didn't have the mood and time, until last week she was suddenly in the mood. She took the empty 'nescafe' bottle and started to paint it. I was there to see how umie made it. I even 'tried to help' her but she didn't let me :( She said that I was just disturbing her and she couldn't concentrate when I was around :((

Umie ordered me to go out and play so that she could finish her decoupage. I was not happy when it seemed she didn't need my help :( So I had to wait patiently until she completed her decoupage. No wonder she didn't want me to be around because she needed to focus on what she was doing. When I am around, I will always brush my body up to umie so that I can also learn how to make it. Finally umie had done it and here is her first 'vase' that she recycle from the empty nescafe bottle. I wanted her to make one with my picture on it :P but I am not sure if she will do it :S

Umie said that she's not so happy with the results but I think it is alright for her first try. I hope she will do more decoupage so that she can get better with more practice. I will ask her again to make one with my picture on it ;) Just wait if she wants to make one as i requested :~ S

Xing Yun has changed!

Xing Yun has crippled leg :( so we prefer her to stay in the house

Today I am going to talk about Xing Yun, she is my best friend (as I ever mentioned before) and until now she is still the only one who likes to hang around with me. What I am going to tell you today is that now Xing Yun has changed from just staying in the room to always playing outside :{ She is now brave to play across the road! This started to happen when our big sister, Itni passed away. Before, Xing Yun was so scared of Itni, since umie took her home she never wanted to go out from Kak Adik's room. She stays in the room for the whole day. She eats, plays, wees and poos in there and it lasted for six months from August last year without going out from the room.

However since Itni passed away, Xing Yun spends most of her time outside. Umie is so worried about her because she is not like us. Xing Yun is crippled and because of that, she cannot walk and run properly (Umie took her home because of that). So when she plays outside especially across the road, umie will get sweat out hihihihih :D For me, actually I like that Xing Yun is now not only staying in Kak Adik's room because before I have to stay in the room to accompany her. Now I can play freely outside with her and it is so fun!

* If itni is still alive... I guess Xing Yun would still be staying in the room :S... Why must Xing Yun change? Actually we like her like as before...

It's been a week since the loss of our beloved Itni. Now she is happily playing among her old friends on the bridge. In loving memory of Itni...

First of all, we would like to thank our friend amy and house of cats for her kind thoughts to make a special entry in their blog for Itni so that our friends out there could send Itni lots of purrs, prayers and get well thoughts. Personally we are really touched by her sincere and pure effort.

We would also like to thank all our friends that stop by to purr and pray for our beloved Itni. It is fate that Itni wouldn't survive from the illness - the jaundice that affected her liver. Itni left us to meet Allah the Almighty. She took her last breath peacefully. She was a sweet little angel that will always stay in our heart.

We want to give her the best so we wrapped her nicely before we bury her :(

We already did all our best to make sure she would recover from the illness but we couldn't do much. On the day she passed away, in the afternoon we took her to the vet again but the vet just gave her some 'drips' and asked to feed her the medicines. The vet even adviced us to give her some goat milk to help cure her jaundice. After a few hours of coming back from the clinic, we noticed Itni's heart beat increased. We were so worried, umie rang the vet to ask about it but the vet said that it will be fine. However we didn't feel good so we decided to take her back to the vet. It was really sad that when we arrived at the clinic, Itni couldn't be saved...

We have to accept the loss of our sweet and lovely Itni. It's really hard for umie to accept the reality of it because umie loved her so much. What made umie so sad was because Itni kept her promise to wait for umie if, in case she dies :(

As in the previous entries, Itni wasn't well and umie had to go somewhere far for supposedly, a week. While umie was waiting for her friends to pick her up and head to the place they were going, umie sat holding Itni and talked to her... umie told her not to die while umie's still not around :(( Itni seemed to understand umie's words. She just looked at umie and purred so strongly. Umie was supposed to be away for a week but suddenly umie's friends changed their mind and they came back after four days. Itni passed away after a day since umie came back. She really kept her promise to wait for umie...

Here Itni rests in peace - her collar will remind us of her

We miss Itni so much... we hope that she will rest in peace. We buried her in our small garden and we will keep her collar for our memory... Umie feels so sad whenever umie comes back home because Itni would always wait for umie and everytime she sees umie, she would lie down and roll herself on the ground to get umie's attention. Umie would tickle her and she would like it so much. Now it's only a memory that Itni has left for us...

The previous entry (8 Feb 2010), was about Itni, she's ill and was admitted for days. After staying in the clinic for days, she was allowed to go home because she looks good and seems recovered from her illness.

However only after three days at home, suddenly Itni lost her appetite again. We gave her the best food she likes but she didn't eat much. We wanted to take her back to the vet we went before but unfortunately the clinic was closed for the Chinese New Year's holiday. Therefore we took her to another clinic. She was diagnosed having jaundice :( and she was given medicines to take.

After 11/2 days, she still doesn't look good and we feel that her condition is very bad and become worse so today we took her to the vet again. She was given some drips to give her some strength. The vet said that her body temperature is dropping... We are very worry about her. We don't want her to continue like this :((

Please pray for Itni... we want her to be healthy and pretty as she was...

Me and Chiku have to stay in the clinic for the treatment

I am here again :)

In the last entry, I wrote about me and our big brother, Chiku that worried umie so much. As I mentioned we have to go to see the vet, umie took us to the clinic. After the check-up, umie, kakak and adik were released because it was found that our big brother was only suffering from mouth inflammation, ulcer, and also needs tooth scaling. For me, I was ill because I was having mouth ulcer and also a very high fever. It's really shocking because the temperature was almost 40.c!

The vet is checking my body temperature - I hate it!

Both of us have to be admitted until we are really well. We have been in the clinic for the thorough treatment for many days! Now we are recovering. Our big brother also had been groomed because kakak and umie can't do it as he's so fierce! Even the vet had to give him the anesthetic before they can really clean him. Now he looks so clean and kakak said he smells like a new born baby :-S does he???

We really hate to be locked in the cage :(

I have noticed that umie hasn't been updating her blog for more than a week. Umie is not very well and she seems so tired. Moreover she's a bit worried about our big brother, Chiku. Chiku looks unwell to her. Umie went to the clinic to seek advice and the vet guessed chiku might have caught a few illnesses and worse, he might have FIV! OMG!!! Hope its not true. Umie will take Chiku for a check-up and pray he's not suffering from a serious illness.

Actually it's not only Chiku that worries umie so much. Umie is worried about me too! Before, I was so chubby and healthy. I always look clean and now I still keep looking after myself but I am not as before. My weight dropped and I look skinny :-S Umie give me anything as long as I will eat it. If there is anything that umie sees I like to eat or I eat it, umie will make sure I will have it but what make umie worry is that I just it a little or just 'eat to taste' it only, after that I will just stared at the food. Sometimes I like to try from the other bowl even though the same food umie gave to me. Umie will take the food from my brothers or sisters just to make sure that I eat. However I just taste some and left...

I don't know what happen to me... I am asking for food but I just eat a little bit. I heard umie will take me to the vet too! I don't like to go to the clinic... so I have to convinced umie that there's nothing wrong with me... I have to eat more and put on some weight so that umie will be happy to see me ;)

I think I don't have much to talk because as those who know me, I am a quiet type so bye-bye for now... Before that I just want to remind all umie friends to wait for an entry on Mahzuz'z birthday because umie and kakak is now busy making something as a 'prize' for Mahzuz'z birthday quiz... I have seen 'the thing' umie and kakak is doing - it's cute ;)

"Guess what it is?" has already passed... Thank you to all our friends who gave comments and participated in the quiz. We really hoped that all of the participants could answer correctly. It juts goes to show how creative you people are! It's true, some of the participants answered the ingredients correctly but did not get the 'food' correctly. What kakak made was 'jemput-jemput' or 'cekodok'.

On that day, umie made 'jemput-jemput' with fresh 'udang geragau' but kakak did not like it so she decided to make her own 'jemput-jemput' mixture. Later we had a competition, who's 'jemput-jemput' is liked more by the other girls and ayah. We let them taste our different versions of jemput-jemput without telling them who made it. After they had eaten we asked which one they like more. Finally they chose Kakak's jemput-jemput' than umie's :((

The ingredients are:

eggs

plain flour

crab sticks

cabbage

water

dried shrimps

water

salt

soy sauce

baking powder

Hello everyone, time flies so fast... it's already almost 1/2 month we are in the year 2010. I really hope that this year will be a better year for all of us. Today, I will be the one who will write on umie's blog. I am just like Mahzuz, using my telephaty ability to pass down all the words to Kakak so that she can put together all the words nicely for me. Actually I'd like to do it myself but I have problem with umie's lappy - so tiny!

As some of you have already known, my name is Xing Yun, a few days ago, Umi had gotten sick and tired of Mahzuz's pooping(again) and weeing (again!) oh dear, so she did what she had to do, she punished him by locking him outside at bed time. I feel so lonely by myself upstairs Kakak and Kakdik don't know how to have fun like me and my best friend, Mahzuz.

Mahzuz and I are always playing together at night, we jump here and there, once, Mahzuz and I were so carried away that we mistook Kakak's face for a pillow and jumped on it while she was sleeping by mistake, Kakak got angry with us because we were playing chase in her room and made her room really messy. She grabbed the both of us who were hiding under her bed and put us outside. She then locked her door but I guess she didn't realise that she hadn't shut the door to the toilet hehehe.

Back to me and Mahzuz, as I was saying, we play together at night when everyone is asleep. We do it every night but now, because Umi locks Mahzuz up, we can't play together anymore. I get so bored upstairs. I'd have gone downstairs and saved him if I could but there were just too many obstacles (more like too many cats) so I just stayed quietly in Kak Adik's room.

this morning, Mahzuz broke out from the cage and came upstairs, I was so happy. We then played together as usual and Kakak's shoked face when she saw Mahzuz this morning was priceless. Me and Mahzuz could play together happily after Kakak and Baby left for school.

I think it's enough for now. I don't want you people to get bored reading this entry. Me and Mahzuz will always be happy to take over umie's blog entry whenever umie hasn't got the time ( actually she is lazy :p hehehehehe ).

* Just want to tell you people that Mahzuz's new year resolution is not to poo and wee in the house anymore! Just wait and see hehehehehe ( I copy how umi giggling -> hehehehehe )

oh geez, i've been affected by umi's laziness, so kakak, listen up and type!

Hello there, today, I, Mahzuz will be the one writing ! well, technically, kakak is the one writing for me. It would be troublesome for me if i were to write this so, I am telling kakak what to write using brain waves hahaha, aren't I clever? Why is Mahzuz the one writing, is what you are all thinking right? hehehe, don't under estimate my telepathic abilities! I'm writing this because umie is faaaar too lazy to write it so, yeah, you get the idea :p (actually umie is still in JB/S'pore so I will take the opportunity to write something here hehehehe)

You're all probably thinking " Mahzuz? isn't he the naughty kitty?" well I am here to announce that yesterday I did not excrete my waste products at the places where umie will shout at me. Where i pooped is a secret between me and Xing Yun hehehe.

Anyways, lets cut straight to the case, umie has been posting entries about how naughty I am, now i will turn the tables on Envy since she has never gotten any complaints from umie. I know that Envy is not very well known on umie's blog so she can consider this as me helping her boost her popularity, after all, the best way for someone to boost their popularity is through gossip right? hehehe

Envy ranks in third in the House's Kitty Council ( she was assigned to take after Flero's possition by Chiku after Flero's death) she never gets the attention she deserves even though she's never pooped nor wee in the house but, who would want to give her any attention since she's always screaming when someone picks her up and geez, her smelly breath smells like a fish market.

Umi likes her because she knows the wonderous techniques of the kitty paw massage. She once offered to teach me her secrets but i refused because then Umie will tell me to massage her belly all the time meaning less time for me to play. You probably wouldn't know this since Umie never made an entry on it, but Envy wasn't all goody two shoes when she first entered this household. I didn't know this either until just recently.

Actually Envy not only good in massaging but she's also a pretty kitty :p most people said that she has the best look among us. However Envy doesn't knows how to attract umie's attention except to be on ready to serve umie whenever umie needs her. She's really good with that kitty paw massaging techniques because what I always notice that umie will fall as-sleep whenever Envy massage her hehehe :D

OK Envy, don't get angry with me haaaaaa :P I am just want umie's friends to know you too :D After all, I did not talk bad about you huhuhu :~)

Kakak said that envy was the one who first caused the house to be smelly. She would poo right behind the sofa or behind the T.V, but at that time Ayah was the one who would clean up her mess since its only natural because it was Ayah who took her in from the pet shop, hehehe she was the only kitten left out of all her brothers and sisters ( maybe it was because she has an ugly moustache) so the shop owner was giving her away since she was only a street cat.

After Ayah got tired cleaning up the mess she made, Ayah decided to lock her in the cage. Since then, Envy learnt to poo and wee in the cage. Later she learnt to behave herself. Until now ,Envy can be considered as the best among all the kitties. I hope I can be like Envy, never cause any problems for umie...

I promise that I will behave and be a good kitty :)

Those are the faux cuppies and a cake ordered by umie's MyR friend. She wanted a cake with 'Best Of Luck' written on it. She said anything will do for the colour and design . So Kakak did that design for her.

She also ordered 5 cuppies with any design too! Here are the cuppies. Anyone interested can email umie or leave massage here because Kakak is still constructing a blog on her Arts & Craft. The blog is there but she still needs to organise it properly. When the blog is ready to be published, surely umie will inform ;)

The cake above cost only RM50 and the cuppies cost RM 7.50 a piece! What a bargain for those 'look like real' stuffs :P ( I am promoting for kakak hehehehe)

Mahzuz - he looks so innocent!

Mahzuz's poo that he tried to hide from us!

Mahzuz did it again! He thought that he's so clever! He didn't poo on the floor like usual ,but on the place that we never thought of or came across our minds! He might have thought that by doing that he could hide his poo from us. He pooed under the table cloth! After that he tried to cover it back... didn't he know that we can find his poo from the 'fragrance' he left! Oh my dear Mahzuz!

He's such a naughty and clever boy! Isn't he?

Every time he poos, we can smell the 'fragrance' so we have to quickly look for it. He doesn't poo on the same spot. He will poo at different places. Usually cats will poo on the same spot because of the smell right? But not Mahzuz! Yesterday he pooed on a different place but we never ever thought it would be on the table!

Mahzuz makes us look and search for his poo and wee! That's why we have to clean up and mop the floor every time he does his business. He really makes us exercise because of the cleaning up is not just to throw away his poo and wipe the wee but to do the mopping as well!

* When we smell the fragrance of his poo, we look for it - as usual we have to clean it quickly but it wasn't on the floor. We looked here and there, every corner of the room. it was as if we were playing hide and seek! Finally, it was such a surprise for us when Kakak found that it was on the dining table (under the table cloth) where he used to play on - almost everyday. We didn't punish him, instead of we were laughing out loud :D hehehehehehe Mahzuz... Mahzuz... Such a lucky boy!
